jill - sorry it took so long to see your comment. Houdini is a little escape artist. My neighbor's feral cat had three kittens. We trapped them and placed them in a large kennel to tame them down. Houdini always managed to escape when the door was opened for any reason. We always had hell to pay in order to get her back with her brother and sister. They are all now very cuddly, respectable house kitties. ;v)
Oh, you're in Houston! I am in the Big D area. :0) The socks are not feather and fan, but it looks like it, huh? It is a pattern fro the Six Sox Knitalong group on Yahoo. And I LOVE the Shepherd Sock colors you have chosen for your pal. Lucky girl/guy. :0) Thanks for stopping by the blog.
Those socks look great. I love the blue. Does your cat try to eat the flowers? I used to have one that did so I had to be carefull which ones I had in the house:)
A big thanks to all who visited and left comments. I plan to make another pair of the garter rib socks and make them knee high length. Should make a great pair of slouch socks for going to Curves.
My sock pal is very into pink. I hope the solid color will be acceptable, it's more berry than pink. I plan to pass it off as a very deep pink. ;vD

Houdini kitty is sweet! Is there a reason for his name I wonder? :)

The flowers are silk and, yes, the lil' monster pulls off the red flowers and then carries them around the house. No end of the entertainment, here!
